Anne Rowland, M.D. is a fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon, whose primary focus is the reconstruction and cosmetic rejuvenation of the eyelids and face. She is a leading expert in the treatment of aging changes, cancers, inflammation and other conditions of the eyes and eyelids. She specializes in a wide variety of disorders including, but not limited to, drooping eyelids, tearing, and eye pain.
Dr. Rowland received her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College, where she graduated cum laude. Her medical degree was obtained from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. While in medical school, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Society. She moved to New Orleans to complete her residency in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University. While at LSU, she received the distinction of being named Outstanding Oculoplastics Resident. Desiring further training in oculoplastic surgery, she traveled to California to be mentored by Dr. Kimberly Cockerham, an Associate Clinical Professor at Stanford University.
Dr. Rowland is also committed to her cosmetic practice, which focuses on achieving natural looking results using the latest technologies and non-invasive techniques. Her line of exclusive doctor-directed skincare products raises funds for the “Let’s Face it Together” Foundation. This foundation provides grants to uninsured patients so that they can receive the medical and surgical care they need.
